  I just read Jon Banks for the first and last time. Jon, you obviously have never owned a business or been in charge of employees. Suggesting that Mike Brown should "swallow his pride" and apologize to Carson Palmer is laughable. For what? What has Mike Brown done that deserves and apology? Mike Brown is one of the worst owners of any franchise in history. Having followed the Bengals for over 39 years, I can agree that he is downright terrible! But the fact that you think that he should beg his employee to fullfil his commitment to the team is rediculous. Carson Palmer signed a multi million dollar contract extension that kept him in Cincinnati through 2015, I believe. Every decision that the Bengals have made since the day that CP signed that contract have been based on CP being the QB. Carson Palmer walking out on his teammates and his commitment to the organization has put the entire franchise in a horrible position. Carson Palmer deserves nothing. I can count on one hand how many times I have agreed with Mike Brown. This is one that Mike got 100% correct. Getting a second or third round pick for Carson is not worth it. Perhaps you should read what Bill Parcels said this week. He agrees with Mike and so do MANY other owners and players. You are in the minority on this one Jon. I get the feeling you are probably very young and inexperienced in business which means your opionions subjects like this have no value. Stick to writing about things you actually know. I'm guessing things like video games and hanging out at the mall.
