    You commented that John Tavares' problems have more to do with how bad the Islanders are than anything else. Actually his two linemates, Matt Moulson and Kyle Okposo, are the two leading scorers.

    In fact, while the Isles do need a potent second line and a more potent powerplay--something prospects in the system and those chosen in the upcoming draft should address, JT's problems have more to do with his own adaption to the bigger faster pace and superior goaltending he has encountered in the NHL. Lady Luck may be a factor as well since he has seemingly bit more than his share of metal this year. He'll be better next year. On that we agree.
