About

Growing up I grew up in Northwest Louisiana I was an avid Dallas Cowboys and LSU Tigers fan. I grew up during the Bill Arnsparger, Mike Archer, Curley Hallman and Gerry Dinardo coaching tenures of LSU football and the declining years of Cowboys football under Tom Landry culminating with the 1 - 15 first year debacle of Jimmy Johnson. Needless to say these were not boisterous times for me growing up. As my friends traded purple and gold for the colors of Miami, Penn State and Notre Dame I stood fast. As they burned their Danny White jerseys and donned Cardinal Red and Metallic Gold emblazoned with the #16 I hung on to the belief that my teams would return to glory.
I of course have been rewarded in my faithfulness with 3 more Super Bowl championships and 2 National Titles. Moving to Baton Rouge in 2004 was been the highlight of my sports viewing career. Where the Tigers once took a back seat to passion for the NFL I have now grown into a full fledged rabid Tiger fan following them on the road when I can and never missing a home game. Better still I converted my wife who HATED football until she attended her first game on a Saturday night in Death Valley. Now she is almost as passionate as I am.
Geaux Tigers!
