  your piece on people hating the Jets is drivel. New York has had a target on its back for all things other than the 9/11 tragedy. Americans hate New York because it is loud and brash and it succeeds at so much. the incidents you recount happen in every sport and on most teams. you've strung them out as conveniences to hide the weak logic in your claim. It's a game and it's played by flawed humans --- like every other human endeavor.
