Born a Husker fan, I have followed football and volleyball very closely and am definitely apart of the Nebraska family. Traditionalist fans of college athletics may scoff, but I am an even bigger fan of another Division I university that is only 45 minutes from Lincoln. I recently graduated from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska and have been in a passionate love affair with everything Jays for 9 years. My alma mater has some of the best athletic facilities in the nation (Morrison Stadium, the Qwest Center, Ryan Athletic Center, TD Ameritrade Park) and boasts many conference championships in the past 4 years. The men's soccer team consistently ranks in the top 20 and men's basketball has made the Big Dance 6 times this decade. Although I am a Jaysker, I can honestly say that my college teams keep me excited August through May!
