  1. Hey John—Jeff here, a Bleacher Report Community Coordinator.

I've been spending time on our Blue Jackets page and read a couple of your old articles. Really on-point analysis...you do good work.

Given that you haven't written in a while, I thought I'd check in and see if you're interested in picking up your coverage again. What do you say?

If not, it would be great if you could give me some feedback on why you decided to stop writing and what we could have done to better serve you. If you wouldn't mind, please shoot me a line at jeff@bleacherreport.com with any thoughts.

    Thanks so much,

    Jeff

  2. Hi! Take a look at my first NHL article. NHL: Saturday Night showdown! Please do comment and feel free to make suggestions.

  3. Jason,

Not sure what your talking about? At what point did I say he stole anything? Relax bud.

    John

  4. Mike Commodore is Awesome. You have no right to say he stole from anyone so shut up!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Hey Brian.

I'll definitely check it out and get back to you asap.

    John

  6. Hey John, I've got a favor.

I've been doing season previews, and I've been trying to include the community leaders. I'm now on to the Central, where Columbus resides. I was wondering if you could read through my preview (I'll attach a link—it's already up somewhere else) and then email me (at bryanthiel74@hotmail.com) a 3-4 paragraph statement saying if you agree, disagree, think I overlooked someone, or anything you want.

I'll be including it in the posting of my preview.

    Thanks a lot John!

  7. Heard of this Mayorov kid you guys just signed? Does he have good potential?

  8. Leclaire is finally signed. The deal will pay Leclaire $3 million this season, $3.6 million in 2009-10 and $4.8 million in 2010-11.

  9. Greg,

Sorry I missed your post earlier. I assume I'm to late to join the round table?

    John

  10. Derek,

Aboslutely! Just send me the details and I'd love to come on and talk some central division and CBJ.

    John

  11. Hey John,

Not sure if you know this, but me and Josh Lewis debuted a new talk radio show yesterday morning. It's called Leafs Talk Today. We discuss (obviously) the Toronto Maple Leafs, but we do spend a good amount of time talking the NHL in general.

We have a segment right now where we "tour" a division. Take a look at the changes made, additions, subtractions, and then also make a prediction on how the division will shake down.

Yesterday we did the Pacific, and Thursday we're looking to do the Central.

With you being the authority on the Columbus Blue Jackets, I was wondering if you would like to come on the show and help us tour the central? And of course spent some time talking CBJ?

  12. John, I'm getting a hockey roundtable together and I want you to be in on it. If you would like to take part, please EMAIL me your answer to this question in about two to three paragraphs.
    (Email is nyr1199@comcast.net)

With the draft long passed and all the big name free agents gone off the market, what teams do you feel did the best during this offseason? Also, what teams did the worst during the offseason? And please explain why.

    Thanks,
    Greg Caggiano

  13. For some reason it wouldn't let me put editor's feedback, so I'll put it here.

Great article. Finally someone got a rumor right! Just made some quick grammatical fixes to an otherwise informative and interesting article. Good luck with RJ too, I'm gonna miss him!

  14. Ken,

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you.

Anyhow - I'd aboslutely like to help you with your blog. Just shoot me an email at light.the.lamp@hotmail.com and we can go from there.

Thanks for the comments as they are very much appreciated. We have a such a great community here at the Bleacher Report.

    John

  15. John, again my browser won't let me post feedback.

I merely added a few commas to your article.

Anywho, what do you think the Jackets will do on draft day? I posted my thoughts on the matter and wanted to see what you think.
