Lakers-Magic: Poor Sports Show True Colors in Win Over Orlando
06/12/2009
I grew up in the 60's, a sort of golden age of sports in Southern California. My afternoons were spent playing, watching, thinking about, and dreaming about baseball. As such, I came to love and admire the grit of players like Willie Mays, Bob Gibson, Don Drysdale, and Pete Rose. Players who put on the spikes, grabbed the glove, and went out to play, and win. No matter what.
That is what I look for in sports and athletics. People who are willing to leave it on the field. Every time they go out there.
Also, if you are wondering about the photo, it's because i love coffee, the nectar of the gods!
