About

Hello Fantasy Fans. I’m another ”unconventional” writer who has a bachelor’s degree from an institution of higher education – it’s just not in journalism or anything related to writing. Matter-o-fact, I’m an assistant. I’m a gopher for the brains of a pretty reputable company, doing errands all day long. This may be the reason why I would be crazy enough to write about fantasy football but carpe diem right? (By the way, I took Latin in high school for two years and carpe diem is the only thing I remember).

My writing style is satirical, but I can right a serious piece when the need hits me. I frequently peruse the message boards, giving my (good?) advice to befuddled fantasy players. Half of the time, they know what they want to do, but they just need assurance. The other half of the time is fantasy fantasy, if that makes any sense.

The weird part – I’ve only been playing fantasy football for two years, but I enjoy it so much, I’ve become a couch expert just by sheer amount of time reading and reviewing stats from all types of sources. I’m the current 2010 champion in my office league, so they’ve increased my crapwork (lucky me), and I’ve placed 1st, 3rd, and 5th place in my 3 NFL HTH leagues.

I believe my strength is draft picking based on stats and schedule analysis, and anticipation of who will be hot on the waiver before ESPN/NFL/BR talk about it next week. I’m the guy who picked J. Charles on the waiver before he blew up last year and I’m one of the lucky ones who picked up Foster in the 10th round this year. I’m also one of 10 people who have faith Randy Moss will hit 100 yards and a TD a few times before the end of the season.

Boom or Bust is the only way to play. I hope you enjoy reading my articles as much as I enjoy writing them. Expect me to be a staple in this writing thing, even if I don't make a dime (but a dollar would be nice).
