To reply to your last comment, yes i read the article. first off LSU, has dealt with a rash of cancellations by other teams in recent years. colorado, tcu, baylor, and the arizona st series has gotten pushed back.
no one ragged on LSU last year when they scheduled VT but this year they seem to be a target of choice.
ohio state has been ragged in recent years but they have USC now. auburn was ragged in 04 but have played USC, south florida, and play west virginia this year etc.
it comes and goes in cycles.
if LSU had a strength of schedule ranking in the 60's or below i think it would be an issue but when conference strength comes into play most don't care about ooc strength of schedule.
the irony of course being that last year without the drubbing of BCS bound VT, the hokies probably go to the nc over LSU.
