Hey John,
I just wrote an article on Tim Tebow that I think you will find interesting and entertaining. Let me know what you think when you have a chance. Thanks.

Hello, Mr. Bartram. I'm new here - so new, in fact, that I only just created this account to post this comment. I stumbled upon your blog regarding your opinion on fantasy sports, and after having read the comments left by absolutely everyone who endeavoured to comment, I feel I must tell you how appauled I am at the general tone of the people who apparently care a lot for fantasy sports.
My thoughts, as I read through the comments, were that personally attacking someone (I believe "douche" was among labels used for you) is not necessary to disagree with someone. Since I'm not a regular here, I'm not sure if people always fly off the handle like that, but being familiar with conduct in other sports forums and sites, I don't think this particular wave of barbaric responses was warrented.
I happen to agree with you that fantasy sports are a bit of a conflict of interests, and kind of a silly hobby that can spiral into a life-consuming maw (like facebook), but even if I din't agree with you, I would not have responded like those people. We are indeed a minority in this world of fantasy sports, I especially as I'm 19, and a college student, which is pretty much the fantasy sports primary demographic. Just wanted to give you a legitimate comment for that year-old post. Have a good one, and good luck to your Chiefs this year.
John! What's up buddy, thought I'd drop you a line. Looks as if we both took our leave after the season...are you going to be back on here? I enjoy bantering with you even if we are bitter rivals. Cheers John, hope all is well
From one Chiefs fan to another--just put up a little satire piece on the Oakland page. Thought you might enjoy it.

WHAT EXCUSE TO YOU HAVE FOR YOUR CHIEFS NOW! COMPLETE DOMINATION IN EVERY SINGLE FAZE OF THE GAME! NEXT TIME DON'T GET TO OVERLY EXCITED! LIKE I SAID THIS WAS A GAME THE RAIDERS SHOULD WIN AND GUESS WHAT? THEY DID!
It is always good to find someone who knows their football but can keep it all in perspective. It is entertainment and a distraction but it is not real life and we all have far more painful realities to deal with after we opine about who shoulda and who coulda won if only this or that meaningless thing took place.
Sports always gives us the chance to escape the pain and mundane, the plain and the pain of everyday life ....even if it is only for a few hours at a time on the weekend.
With all that said however, let me dive off the real life platform and splash into the fun with all of you!
This should be an interesting week with a lot of parity to go around. That is what makes this such a great sport., the ability to dominate like the Patriots have done when you are all on a level playing field.
Unlike M L B which is a billionaire's club where money and greed are the rules [well almost always] this year Cliff Lee being the wild exception, although Philly is a major player market team.
Then again Greinke was dealt to the Brewers......like they have a shot at winning anything....LOL
Bill
Good game John .....withthe giftss by the Raiders penalties and horrible refs you guys still couldn' win
Last game of the year will decide the Div and who goes to the playoffs
Wish ya the best in your fight against MS. I'm a nursing student working as an EKG tech. Worked for local ambulance co as EMT and hopefully ER! Sound like a great guy but Chiefs will lose! Come over to the Dark Side my young paduan. Go Raiders.
