My name is Matt and I live in the grand city of Murfreesboro, Tennesssee, home of Trash Mountain, TWO malls and most importantly, Middle Tennessee State University.

I am a college student attending MTSU and currently I'm an undeclared major. I'm an avid musician that plays saxophone and is looking to expand my skills into banjo or guitar. I'm an avid cyclist and runner, training for my first half-marathon this fall.

I have a passion for all sports and the thrill of the competition. The pageantry, the excitement, the emotion, it's unrivaled to any major movie I've ever seen. I'd much rather witness the extraordinary climb to greatness of a real man than any fictional one. When you think about it, these sports stars are our protagonists and antagonists, coming together once to several times a year to write another chapter. That's why I watch.

I'm a fan of just about everything. My biggest interests lie with college athletics, F1, NFL and to a lesser extent, soccer and the NHL. I am a casual fan of almost every league I can get my hands on. In my closet you'll see a Saskatchewan Roughriders t-shirt, a North Dakota Fighting Sioux long sleeve shirt (only comes out during hockey season!), a Team Radioshack cycling jersey and several pieces of merchandise from the cult-followed Drum Corps International (brownie points if you're aware of DCI).

I don't really know what I'm going to do on BR, but I'll figure something out. Wish me luck!
