    aww Steven you're a frustrated A's fan! so is my brother!..in fact we had flown to Seattle to them play..a good friend of mine is a pitcher for the a's so we went up to catch a game..it didnt turn out so well though..A's got beat pretty badly..my bro is frusrated like you..but hey there's always next season:)

    Hey Steve,

    Thank you so much for the add. I really like meeting people on here who have varied interests in sports. And if I were forced to choose a new favorite team (I'm a Cubs fan) I would pick the A's. Ever since I saw them in spring training in Phoenix back when they had Giambi, etc., I have followed them closely.

    Hey, I read your A's article. They might suck, but at least your manager isn't making ridiculous predictions. Cecil Cooper: "We're going to sweep Milwaukee. You heard it here first." Thanks, Cecil, for your unsolicited (and now wrong) claim of clairvoyance.

    The Astros lost 9-3 Monday night but rebounded Tuesday to win 5-2. I have always debated: would you rather your team outright suck or have a mediocre team that will never consistently play up to its potential?

    Good article, though.
