Peter's Bio

I grew up in the blue-collar city of Saint John New Brunswick (once home to the Saint John Flames, little brother to the NHL's Calgary Flames). I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Brunswick Saint John, an Applied Information Technology Degree from the Information Technology Institute, and am a PMP (Project Management Professional) certified Project Manager. I currently work back in my hometown delivering projects to clients in the healthcare, government, and telecom sectors. I am married, and have two sons, Evan 6 and Ethan 4.

My sports interests mainly fall into one of two sports, the obvious being hockey, and the second (an ever less distant second, the NFL). I take in the odd Nascar race or Wrestling match but prefer not to open to the door to the debate over whether EITHER of those constitute a sport… Skills, yes. Sport, meh…

I have taken in life south of the border, having lived in both Cincinnati and Columbus. I was able to take in a couple of Mighty Duck and Cyclone games, and while living in Columbus, took in a good portion of Jacket games as well (from the company suite). I watched the Saint John Flames before heading south, and now hold season tickets to the QMJHL's Saint John Seadogs.

I have no journalism degree, no Nobel Peace Prize (not even a nomination), and I don’t submit my articles to papers or magazines. I just write for fun. You will get my thoughts, my insight (if I have any), and generally my point of view. If you are looking for shock and awe, go fire up your HDTV and put on the Military channel, cause that’s why it’s there. At the end of the day I’m just another joker clicking the keys on his pc…
