Nathan's Bio

I am a 21 year old die HARD KENTUCKY FAN so in other words I BLEED BLUE!

I'm the Community Leader for Kentucky Wildcats Basketball team page.

In my spare time off work, I follow the University of Kentucky in just about every sport.

I go to almost all the basketball, football, and baseball games.

I am a season ticket holder in all.

I enjoy watching all college sports. The only thing that I watch of any pro league is MLB.

NFL and NBA is overrated, that's why I do not watch it.

  3. I believe your predictions of 30-3 and running the table in the SEC were one year too early.

  4. Hey Nathan, Thanks for the post!

  5. Hey Nate,

Melky Cabrera hit a walk-off home run last night for the Yankees, but the score and the win paled in comparison to Brett Gardner’s remarkable story. Read how he brought a smile and hope to a sick little girl in NYC.

The title explains itself: How the Dallas Cowboys Stole My Heart.

If you have the time, I'd love for you to check it out. If not, no worries. Thanks!

  7. Nathan:

Just posted my latest. Breaking down my expectations for the Cowboys' 2009 season. If you have a second, I would love your feedback, but if you cannot get around to it, no worries! Thanks!

  8. Hey Nathan,

The Alex Rodriguez steroid/hip saga is almost coming to a close, and I wanted to tell the story of A-Rod’s tumultuous offseason through the eyes of How the Grinch Stole Christmas, or in this case “April.” Both A-Rod and the Grinch are slightly misunderstood and have taken a bevy of negative criticism.

Let me know what you think of the article and my rhyming skills. Thanks in advance!

  9. Hey Nathan,

Jackie Robinson meant as much to America and it’s pastime than almost any other player in the game. Find out why he would be smiling proudly if he had watched the Yankees-Rays game yesterday. I would love you hear your thoughts, and hope to hear from you soon.

  10. Nathan:

We have seen a ton of lists, rankings, etc. all over B/R. I finally tried one of my own, but I tried to tackle this particular list from a different angle than the norm. My list is of the 10 Most Valuable Offensive Players in the NFL.

These players aren't necessarily the best in the league, or even the best at their positions, but rather the 10 players that mean the most to their particular team's SB chances.

Would love your input if you have a chance. If not, no worries. Thanks!

  11. Hey Nathan,

We all know Derek Jeter’s achievements ON the field, but he is as great a man off of the field. Whether you are a Yankees fan or not, you will enjoy this story of how Jeter helped to pick a young Yankees fan back onto his feet.

  12. Hey again Nathan,

I wrote an article about my first hand experiences at the new stadium on April 2. The team's first workout was very exciting, and also opened myself up to a lot of relfections and emotions. Check it out, and i would love to hear your thoughts. Take care!

  13. Nathan-

Thanks for reading my article on John Calipari and Kentucky, as well as visiting my website www.aarontorres-sports.com. I'm always glad to have new readers, especially from a fanbase as passionate as Big Blue Nation.

So what is the word out of Lexington with Calipari? Is it a done deal or what. I'm curious to hear what someone who is able to follow it a lot closer than I can has to say.

Regardless thanks again for reading and always feel free to swing by www.aarontorres-sports.com. I'm always down for a good basketball chat.

    Aaron

  14. Nathan:

NFL runningback Ryan Moats was pulled over last week on the way to the hospital to say goodbye to his dieing mother-in-law. He was detained and harassed by the officer for almost 15 minutes, and in that time his mother-in-law passed away. He was not able to get to her in time to say goodbye.

I was heartbroken when I heard this story, but enraged when I actually saw a 17 minute video of the entire incident. I have never seen such an abuse of power in my life.

Because of the nature of this subject, this article was pretty important to me. I would love if you could check it out when you get a chance. If not, no problem. Thanks!
