My name's Toby Field and I live in Eastbourne in the UK. I'm a big fan of cars and motorsport, especially Formula 1. The only other sport I'm into is Snooker.

I got into motorsports big time in my early teens when I was learning photography and wanted to be a sports photographer. My first try at it was Touring Cars at Brands Hatch in 1995 aged 16. After going to college and university I realised there wasn't enough money in photography so decided to stick to computing which I'm good at.

I did media studies at school and again at college and have had quite a bit of experience of writing article but I probably don't get it right first time. I current look after the newsletter for a local branch of a national car club.
