I was told it was time to update my profile, so here it goes…

I am one of two NFL Community Leaders here at Bleacher Report. Basically, that means I’m here to help. Have a question, want me to read something, need something edited, just let me know on my bulletin board.

I read EVERYTHING that’s posted on my board. I may not always comment, but I make it a point to read everything. And I appreciate the links, so keep them coming.

I was recently hired by Examiner.com to be their New England Patriots Examiner. I get paid by the hit, so feel free to go there as often as possible. Here’s the URL: http://www.examiner.com/x-1324-New-England-Patriots-Examiner

You can email me at scrowe@gmail.com if you need anything. If I can find it in the sea of spam, I’ll be sure to get back to you.

I was once called a “jealous sycophant” by Dan Shaughnessy for pointing out that he was guilty of blatant plagiarism, so I have that going for me.

I was one of Bill Simmons’ first ten readers back when he was with AOL and called himself the Boston Sports Guy. I actually had a hockey article of mine published on his site back when I was 16 or 17 years old (I forget).

By the way, have I finished paying my dues yet? I’ve been doing this for free for more than a decade. When was the last time you wrote an article for free? I work like 50 hours a week, raise two kids, then I write about sports in what little spare time I have for free! Because I enjoy it. You don’t work at all, and get paid to do this crap. Then have the nerve to tell me that Internet writers like myself haven’t had to pay their dues?

Good God, I apparently hold a grudge…who knew?

Sorry…

OK, I’m done. Enjoy.

  2. My tribute to 13 year veteran Steve McNair, who played 11 years with Tennessee, two with Baltimore. Give it a read.

  3. Adrian Peterson is arguably the best running back in the NFL. Even as an Eagles fan, I love to watch him play.

But the Vikings better be sure not to overwork him in the upcoming years...

  4. Lets remember and celebrate the life of an NFL legend.

  5. Happy 4th of July! Please take a moment to ready the article I wrote about the importance of sports in American society. I look forward to your comments. Thanks! Michael http://bleacherreport.com/articles/211946-the-importance-of-sports-in-america

  10. There are some athletes you're not allowed to criticize.

Michael Jordan. Tiger Woods. Lance Armstrong.

Sandy Koufax is one of those guys.

I've always felt he was overrated. I hear people talk about him as the greatest left-handed pitcher of all-time, and I've never agreed.

I did a little bit of research and this is what I came up with. I would love if you could take a look. I spent more time on this than any article I have ever written in my entire life, and as a result, it is LONG.

I actually had to trim it a little - evidently articles can't be over 5,000 words - but I like what I came up with. You don't have to read it all, but I would love if you would.

    Thanks.

  11. Kirk Morrison needs to step it up this year for the Raiders, as this could be a make or break year for him going into his fifth year. Is he overrated or is he the real deal?
