Josh 's Bio

I'm Josh Warren. I'm a resident of DeKalb, Illinois, and currently a student at Kishwaukee College, majoring in Journalism.

I'm a fan of almost all things sports, and a huge hometown kind of guy. I'll be a Chicago Bears and Chicago White Sox fan til the day that I die.

I tend to write game recaps, but I'm glad to write whatever kind of article I can about whatever comes my way. If anyone is curious to reach me, send me an e-mail at oensaiga@yahoo.com.

I'm hoping to break 10,000 article views by the end of this baseball season (even though I know some guys break that in one article,) and I hope to keep expanding on my writing style here. Examples of my work can be found throughout the website, and also on helium.com, under the pen name Alexander Jackson.

  1. Hey,

I just came up with the list of the best current Major Leaguers wearing the numbers One thru Ten. I hope you can take a look and voice your opinion on my list. Thanks in advance,

  2. Hey Josh,

I wrote a piece in May highlighting the position players that I thought should make the all star team. I started a 2-part follow up piece today focusing on starting pitchers. I started with AL. If you get the chance, I'd appreciate it if you took a look at it. Thanks

  4. Hey Josh, it's Chris P., your community leader. I see you're writing good stuff for the White Sox readers and we need guys like you for the weekly Sox roundtable "Voices from the South Side." Send me your e-mail address and I'll get things up and running this week with any luck. Thanks, go Sox and keep up the good work.

  5. Hey Josh,

People of my generation look at them fondly as the players they watched as little kids, people of other generations may just look at them as great players. I created a slide show highlighting the best players of the 1990's. If you get a chance, take a look, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

  6. Hey Josh,

There was a touching moment in the Mariners game last night, made possible by the best pitcher I've ever gotten to watch - Randy Johnson. Watching history unfold inspired to me take a look at his incredible career and count down his five best moments, in my eyes. If you get a chance, take a look at it, I'd appreciate it. Thanks a lot.

  10. Hey Josh,

Thanks a lot for the POTD vote Josh, it always means a lot to me. I look forward to talking baseball with you again down the road, and take care.

  11. Hey Josh,

Ryan Zimmerman’s hit streak halted at 30 games last night. As one streak ends, another is admired. Read about how Joe DiMaggio forever redefined ’56,’ and how his feat may never be broken. It is a record that thankfully cannot be broken through steroid use, and represents all that was once right in a game that has since gone so wrong.
