Scott's Bio
Well, hey there - I'm Scott Fowler - Though, uhm, right: you're here, you knew that much already. I'm a transplanted Canadian that has real passion for Baseball and Hockey, more notably, The Los Angeles Angels or Anaheim, the Anaheim Ducks, and the Toronto Maple Leafs.
That said, I'm also just a passionate baseball and hockey fan. I might wax nostalgic on here from time to time, but thats ok. . . . . right?
I'm also the new community leader for the (Los Angeles) Angels of Anaheim. I'm an OC Resident, and honestly will never really be able to call 'em the LA Angels. Just one of those things. If you have any questions or concerns, or comments, both derogatory and useful - - please let me know and drop me a line. :)

Most Memorable Game Attended
I went to an Average Sunday game this year, early in the season, and watched my son walk the field at Angels stadium. Two weeks later, another random Sunday game, i met Guerrerro at a convenience store on the way home from the game, watching him go 3-4 on the day. He was great, my son was wearing his jersey, and speechless. Those two stand out more than any playoff game ever will....That said, I was in Anaheim the game AFTER the dropped/not dropped ball incident in the playoffs against Chicago--I've never heard an ump that hated in my life. period.

Hey Scott,
I wrote a piece in May highlighting the position players that I thought should make the all star team. I started a 2-part follow up piece today focusing on starting pitchers. I started with AL. If you get the chance, I'd appreciate it if you took a look at it. Thanks

With your team in 2nd place, what do you think are the chances that they'll reach the top of the division?

Jim Thome is about 3 seasons away from breaking a historic record held by Reggie Jackson. Please take a look when you have time. Thanks for any comments or feedback you may have.

Hey Scott,
Ryan Zimmerman’s hit streak halted at 30 games last night. As one streak ends, another is admired. Read about how Joe DiMaggio forever redefined ’56,’ and how his feat may never be broken. It is a record that thankfully cannot be broken through steroid use, and represents all that was once right in a game that has since gone so wrong.

Thanks in advance!

hey Scott! I am in a Fantasy Baseball League through B/R and I was wondering if you would be interested in joining. We need a few more guys to make it fun and competitive and I plan on making it a solid B/R staple... One of the head guys over in the fantasy department here is running it... lemme know or let Collin Hager (the head guy) know if you are interested...

I don't know you that well. But, would you be willing to join my website? You'd be the Angels beat writer if you join. You literally wouldn't have to do a thing, I'd just post articles when you write them. Tell me if you're interested!
-Thanks,

Just a note to all community leaders. I'm trying to collect e-mails. I have most of them from when we did the awards, but If it's changed since then, or you are new to the team, make sure we're cool on the e-mail.
With Free Agency starting tomorrow, we should probably be thinking offseason plans. I encourage everyone to put up some sort of preview for their own team. Highlight some needs, maybe look at who your team has on the market, or potential targets. If enough people get in on it, I'll post a collective article to highlight everyone's work.
If your a new community leader, welcome aboard. If you've been around, make sure you go around, become a fan of some of the other CL's and support each other. We're a team here!
-Nino
Scott, I'm good on your e-mail.

Hey Scott. As a big Angels fan, I really like your articles. Also, I was wondering if you'd be interesting in writing about the Halos for my website SoCal Sports Hub.com (http://socalsportshub.com), which covers all sports in Southern California. If you are, feel free to contact me at joey@socalsportshub.com.

Hey Scott,
I'm sure you watched the Red Sox vs. the Angels last night. Here is my article about Scioscia's decision to call for the suicide squeeze: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/66111-mike-scioscia-drops-from-manager-of-the-year-candidate-to-fool/poll_results#poll
If you have a chance, please check it out.
Sorry about the loss,

Tough way to end a season..The Angels didn't play up to their capabilities and everyone knows it..That being said I want to thank you so much for everything you've done down the stretch. You've been awesome this season and I want you to know how much we appreciate your efforts here at Bleacher Report.
