B/R Writer Academy

Basketball and writing are my favorite things. Naturally, B/R was perfect for an opinionated, die-hard fan like me.

Utah Jazz and Syracuse Orange are my favorite teams. I was born in Syracuse, so I bleed Orange by default. My earliest memories of SU basketball go back to John Wallace, Preston Shumpert and Lawrence Moten.

Other than basketball, I love golf. But I'm not nearly as good as golf as I am at basketball, probably because I still play three times a week and golf is a seasonal sport on Long Island. In fact, I'd describe myself as a pretty crappy golfer. But I love it anyways.

Aside from sports, I'm a senior at St. Joseph's College and major in English with a focus in secondary education.

I'm currently a Featured Columnist for the Utah Jazz.

    Hey Justin-
Good to hear from you. Yes, I am very excited about the Jazz. Two great wins in a row and a good record. I am a bit wary of the schedule the next couple of months, but they young guys are getting good experience. I am hoping that this can last.

Justin- I've seen some of your comments on B/R and have really enjoyed your insight. I just launched a new website called Swoosh Nation and was wondering if you would be interested in joining onto the site as a moderator in the message boards. If you have any interest at all or any questions, please contact me admin AT swoosh nation DOT com. I appreciate your consideration and am looking forward to hearing back from you!

On a similar note, I have also seen some of your articles on B/R and if you would be able to expand your knowledge from just the Jazz to the entire NBA, I would love to add you to our staff of writers. If you would prefer this option, please contact me and let me know!
