tallulah has yet to fill out a bio.
My bad, I forgot to mention the offensive line. Clearly, with 3 major starters leaving, the o-line is a concern. (Two were ranked #1 at their position, and the other was #2 behind Luke Joeckel.)
The o-line will make or break this offense next season. Luckily for 'Bama, the o-line has rarely been a weakness, even without players ranked #1 at those positions.
I'll drop you the link to my article tonight, too. It's about teams who are guaranteed to win 10+ games in 2013. Alabama will definitely be on that list. :)
I'm sorry for the delayed response here, Tallulah. The spring game is going to be great! IF you haven't heard yet, it's going to be televised on ESPN2 this year, so nobody has to miss out on it. (I was in a blackout area last year, because someone thought that North Carolina fans actually cared enough about football to watch UNC's spring game.)
Watch T.J. Yeldon, because his spot as the potential starter will be heavily contested. Saban favors experience, but there are 3 top-10 running backs coming this fall. Yeldon's performance in the spring game will show whether he's able to perform well enough to hold his position.
Jalston Fowler will also be back next season. (I'm not 100% sure he will be ready for the spring game, though there is almost no evidence against it.) Fowler is a beast, and we all miss him. I hope he splits carries with Yeldon in 2013.
Here is the link to an article I just wrote that gives a brief preview of all the AP Top 25's spring games: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1552096-preseason-college-football-rankings-2013-spring-game-previews-for-the-ap-top-25
Alabama's spring game is probably the most-anticipated of the spring, and April 20 can't get here soon enough. :)
what an ignorant heathen
You're awesome. Thanks for going on a comment crusade against those very classless Auburn fans. I read a trash article about Boise and yet not a single Bronco fan behaved that way. It was refreshing to know that not EVERYONE becomes so mindless and tasteless in sports. You're comments were excellent. Very good points. I'm a fan :)
