Rob's Bio

My name is Rob Webb, I'm a student at St. Theresa's High School. Currently in grade 11.

I grew up watching and cheering for the Toronto Maple Leafs. I love hockey in general, its a huge part of my life. One day I stumbled across www.hockeyfights.com and I instantly started following hockey fights and the enforcers around the league. It's like a sport itself (the fighting in hockey), but don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those guys who just watch hockey for the fights. Even if hockey didn't have fighting I would still love the game. My favourite player is Wade Belak. I also play a lot of hockey myself. I've played at rep level but nothing higher. I hope to make the Junoir C team thats in town within the next couple of years. Im a stay at home defenceman that lays the body well, puts the odd puck in the net and isn't afraid to drop the gloves.

As for writing, I've always liked writing in school and what not. But I didn't start writing about what I love until I stumbled across an ad for this site on facebook. If you have any suggestions on what to write about, or you just wanna shoot the shit leave me a note on my profile or add shaqed_nahman@hotmail.com on Msn Windows Live Messenger.

  1. I'm your fan now because I'm going to get to see Dave Schultz' name soon eh?

  2. No worries. That's a fair mistake. It's not like you said 140 PIM.

  3. No man, he had 141 assists.

245 seems like way too many points for Domi, but that's it. Actually, I don't really know what made me check in the first place.

  4. The Hockey fights category i a major sub-topic. On that premise I would assume there isn't an algorithm within Bleacher Reports code to calculate top writers for it. If your looking to become a top writer in your own way, it could easily be done covering the Florida Panthers, they are in need of coverage on here, they have no Community Leader, and no real devoted writers.

If i can be of anymore help, lemme know.

  5. nah i think you should. i've written over 200 articles, i want to give other people a chance. work your magic. also, do u have aim? if you do, go online and IM me, im on now

  6. what would you like written about him? and you should do it, you are a good writer, i want to see you get very active in all aspects of the NHL

  7. Welcome to BR man! Great to see we have another young writer on our hands!
