Ricky's Bio

Sports and poker, I love them both.

I played baseball, basketball and football growing up.

After my last season of baseball, I picked up Texas Hold'em and haven't looked back.

I own Just Muck Poker, Inc, which is a poker apparel company.

I am a huge Cubs and Bears fan. I don't watch much NBA since the Jordan era ended. I still root for the Bulls. I love IU basketball, but right now I am sad that Sampson tore the program apart and burned the pieces. I also love Notre Dame football and hope for better things to come there.

I am not a professional writer. I do this for fun. I appreciate when any of you edit my articles, but please do not turn it into an English class, I do my best and have fun, don't ruin it for me, haha.

  3. I haven't pimped an article in awhile, but the silence is deafening, so here I go again.

I think that the Strasburg negotiations warrant a look at something that MLB should have adopted a long time ago. I'd like to know if you agree.

  4. Hey, Ricky, how's it going/

Well, here I go again. I'm now taking on a subject that is not commonly discussed among men in sports, namely gay bashing. Similar to my article on racism, I'm sure this will generate some debate, so feel free to join in the fray.

  12. This is a piece that I'm really quite happy with. A lot of people know a lot about the Chicago Cubs, sometimes the early history does not game as much publicity as it perhaps should. In the first of a four part series, i take a look at the very early stages of Chicago Cubs history, from it's establishment in 1870. Would greatly appreciate feedback on this particular piece of work:
