Eian's Bio

Oakland Raiders are the only professional sports team that matter to me. I do watch some basketball, and the occasional Oakland A's or SF Giants baseball game, but come September nothing else matters. Ive been a Raiders fan since I was 10, that was 20 years ago, Ive seen my share of hard times as a fan, but i bleed silver and black, and that will never change, just go take a look at my myspace page (www.myspace.com/bigloony211).
Oh and by the way I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of another member to the Raider Nation, my son Jaiden who will join the world in style in his Raiders baby blanket on Nov 2. GO RAIDERS!!!!!

I think the most memorable for me was the 89 World Series. A's v Giants "Battle of the Bay".As a kid I won 10bucks from my neighbor by first betting 5 on the A's then with Oakland having a 2-0 lead i doubled up saying they would sweep. The earthquake that rocked the bay area during that series was felt in my hometown of Carson City, NV.

Not often I'm serious. When I am it might be worth a read.

No I don't pimp my articles like this often.

  8. I usually write humor, but I got to thinking (a dangerous pass time one usually uses lots of beer to avoid)

  9. I've had a few articles edited by volunteers. They changed things like "46" to "forty-six" and stuff. They also got rid of many relevant tags.

If it was a satire article on Matt Cassel's agent they would take the Cassel and satire tags away. At first I thought it was just really stupid volunteers and just put those back.

Then I wrote "London Calling" and noticed a minor misspelling. I used "werewolf's" when I should have used "werewolves." When I edited it it lost all tags but NFL. Maybe the Patriots and Buccaneers tags it could do without. Maybe.

Um, the humor tag was kinda important.:)

If this is happening a lot, check your tags after your articles get edited.

  10. Hey Elan—Dave Mo here, a Bleacher Report Community Coordinator.

I've been spending time on our Raiders page and read a couple of your old articles. Really on-point analysis...you do good work.

Given that you haven't written in a while, I thought I'd check in and see if you're interested in picking up your coverage again. What do you say?

If not, it would be great if you could give me some feedback on why you decided to stop writing and what we could have done to better serve you. If you wouldn't mind, please shoot me a line at dmorrison@bleacherreport.com with any thoughts.

    Thanks so much,

    Dave Mo

  11. Thanks for the edit!
