I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelit dinners, and... wait, wrong bio page.
I have served as a journalist, beat reporter, columnist, critic, editor and publisher since way back in the Clinton Administration, contributing hundreds of pieces for dozens of publications and websites including Gannett and the Associated Press.
Though my contributions have run the gamut of topics, my passion has always been - and always will be - in sports. And although it's been over 15 years since I first sat in a press box, loitered in a locker room and roamed the sidelines, the childlike thrill of it all remains the same each opportunity I get to do it again.
My sports writing resume includes being a stringer and contributor for the AP's South Florida Bureau (where I covered Florida Panthers hockey and Florida Atlantic football, among other events) and a featured columnist for The Phanatic Magazine - a Philly-area sports blog. I also covered the Jacksonville Jaguars in their infancy while attending JU, and scored my first postgame interview with Jimmy Smith at midfield after the Jags pulled off a win in their first Monday Night contest.
I've knocked out columns for Bleacher Report since 2011 and, prior to my most recent role as featured columnist for the Philadelphia Eagles, I served in an identical role with the Philadelphia 76ers during the 2012-13 season. However, I still refuse to assume the blame for what happened to them that year.
I see that you're a big fan of the Sixers, and I'd love if you could stop by a site that I work on and make the Sixers' pick for them in our fan interactive mock draft! Thanks!
