About

Hi. I'm David.

I live in England. I'm 21 years old and a devoted fan of Tottenham Hotspur FC.

Admittedly, I went through the alternating stages of 'Like football' and 'Don't like football'. Now I continue to like football so it's all good now :)

Started off by watching Manchester United in the Champions' League every week.
Then my uncle took me to my first Tottenham Hotspur match when I was 5 or 6.
4-0 against Watford. Ginola swivelling in and out of the Watford players like they were training cones.

I think it took off from there - I had officially become a Spurs fan.

As strange as it may seem though, some of my family are Arsenal fans, while others are Spurs fans.
One of my grandmothers used to go to Spurs on most Saturdays and the other one lived right between White Hart Lane and Highbury! About 1/4 of a mile away from either stadium.

Anyway, I'm going on quite a bit now, so I'll stop.

I love music. So much in fact that I recently got immersed in the world of parodies
and have written over 20 of them on here so far.

I hope you enjoy my articles/parodies and leave comments on them, etc.
If you like most of my articles/parodies, it'd be very much appreciated if you become my fan :D.

NOTE: If you edit my articles, I politely request that you DO NOT edit my headlines. I check my account activity regularly and will only change them back to how I first wrote them.

Remember,If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Many thanks in advance.

David :)

    David,
Let’s see if we can tackle this em-dash problem together.

I noticed that the most recent comment on your bulletin board was posted by Dave Fishman. In it, he explained exactly how to insert an em-dash, both for Macs and PCs. The issue isn’t with your computer; it is with how you are attempting to insert the em-dash. Literally every computer is capable of producing an em-dash. It can be a little confusing at first, so I’ll walk you through it.

Assuming you have a PC, hold down the alt key. With the alt key pressed down, sequentially type out the numbers 0-1-5-1 on the numeric keypad. Afterwards, release your finger from the alt key. That is how you insert an em-dash.

If that still doesn’t work or if you don't have a numeric keypad, then you will have to copy/paste an em-dash into your work. Em-dashes are not optional; there is no substitute. Feel free to contact me if you have any other trouble with this.

    David,

just responding to your message earlier.
to do em-dashes I'm just going to paste this from the "B/R Style Guide":

[On a Macintosh, the em-dash is produced by holding down SHIFT and OPTION, then pressing the dash button. On a PC, the em-dash is produced by holding down ALT and then entering 0151 on the numeric keypad.

If you're working on a PC without a numeric keypad, you can copy and paste em-dashes as necessary. Here's one to get you started: — ]

Just to clarify though man, great article and I was only nitpicking because you seem like a more "animated" writer meaning that throughout your entire articles you will probably use many ellipses, quotation marks, dashes and many other symbols to help the readers understand where you're coming from. That being said, thanks for any ways that you can help us editors out and good stuff overall. Any other questions don't hesitate to ask.

Take a look at this mate and let me know what you think. It's quite comprehensive and took a while to write.

Quite a refreshing bio I read, David. Good to see that. I was hoping that you would turn it in to a parody itself, ha ha. Kidding. Have fun mate, and may you enjoy some "European-Arrivals" this year ;)

Hey Dave, I'm good thanks :) and yourself?

I've read your article, I'll comment in a bit, but I've got a bit of shameless advertising to do myself lol, because I've written a ridiculously long article that is probably one of my most entertaining ones yet.

Here's the link for mine if you ever feel like reading it sometime.
