Justin David Tate is an award-winning journalist and creative storyteller. He most recently won "Best Feature" at the 2012 T.I.P.A. Convention. Texas Intercollegiate Press Association (or TIPA) collected the best and brightest journalism students in the state of Texas and bused them to a previously undisclosed location and gave them one hour to collect information. Then one hour to write the story after being bused back to the host hotel. Tate has written for various Texas newspapers such as the Garland Journal, Balch Springs Sentinel and Metroplex South Star. He was also the sports editor for the national award-winning college newspaper "The Et Cetera," a paper that belongs to the school Tate currently attends, Eastfield College.
