Austin Quick is currently a sports studies major at the University of Iowa and will be pursuing a career in sports information, and sports journalism.
At a young age Austin fell in love with the storied Denver Broncos franchise. The works of John Elway, Ed McCaffery, Terrell Davis and Rod Smith ignited his passion, and recent players such as John Lynch, Al Wilson and many others have carried on the tradition.
Austin also specializes in scouting and mocking the NFL Draft looking at past draft trends and evaluating talent throughout each year's draft class.

Hey Austin- Great stuff in your first piece! I think the more people we having giving well researched and informed opinions on the site the better and you seem to fit that mold. I can't argue with going ILB and RB in the first two picks, but the best part about the draft is the difference of opinion. My argument for Hightower is simply that he has the experience of playing in the big games and as a captain he rallied his defenses around that. I also admire the courage not to take an interior defensive lineman in your mock, as you can see I buckled under the pressure in the third round!
