About

For some reason, b/r isn't allowing me to upload my website so please visit www.vincentheckwriting.com for my latest writing.

About me:

I'm from Philly. I've been writing all my life -- professionally, since 2009. I love the high of seeing the email, "Your article has been accepted for publication." It's a beautiful thing.

I love sports, and I'm crazy about writing. So, what better way to express myself than through sports writing?

I've taken courses on creative writing, and American Literature, so I do know a little something something. lol.

I like to have fun, and where ever possible within my articles, I will try to.

Well that's me.

Oh, I'm very opinionated -- but fun, and fair. I won't low-blow you. I'll accept what you say, unless it's something ridiculous like: "The Mets are better than the Phillies." Then there will be a problem. ;)

I have a question for you out of curiosity. Do you write about the Eagles? If so are you objective? I have a need for objective Eagles writers on my NFC East blog. Any interest?

This is incredible, I have been to about 800 games MLB and minors in my life, I've seen a few 2 and 3 hitters, I've watched thousands of games on tv and listened on the radio, today is the first time in all my years that I have seen a no hitter from the first to last pitch, Verlander's I saw but listened to the first three on the radio, David Cones perfection I almost saw all of it but it was interupted by coverage of JFK JRs plane crash. Today I have chills, this is an absolute incredible feeling.

Hey Vincent -- Miguel Cabrera and Josh Hamilton both have similar stories, but only Hamilton gets the hype, why?
