About

For over 50 years now, I have been waging battle after battle in order to find my inner peace, and now I have the opportunity to share my experiences with you, the readers. Well, wait, that's not entirely true. I have had some challenges, but you REALLY don't want to hear about them. So, instead, I'll regale you with stories about sports that hopefully will give you pause to think, "Wow, this dude really needs to find a day job."
If you really dig pain, you can follow me on Twitter, @Sports_A_Holic, and you can join my Facebook page as well!

Russell- NO ONE will ever win 11 championships in 13 seasons again.

Gretzky. Hey, the dude nailed Janet Jones.

  • Federer or Sampras?

Hey Sampras, win one on clay for crying out loud!

  • Tiger or Nicklaus?

    Hey Doug
I'm a huge fan and love your writing. Bleacherreport, especially your writing, has inspired me to start writing about sports. I considered signing up for bleacherreport but instead decided to try to make my own website. http://bustasports.com/ is the link, and it would mean a ton if you checked it out and gave me some feedback. Feel free to give me positive or negative feedback, either way it means a lot. You can post on my profile or email me at lmssports@hotmail.com
I also have a couple questions, so do you have a personal email I can reach you at?
Thanks a lot and a reply would be huge for me.

Good luck...I enjoy reading baseball, but when I see the WS star come for St. Louis CC. I wonder how the scout miss great players. Hitters are born and I have been searching and watching youtube videos. Google Jack Bernacchi He is a 2012 prospect with some great videos on line.

In your minor league stadium article you used the same picture for the entries on the Brooklyn and Staten Island parks. Nice "fact-based analysis." Bleacher Report is awful.

    Doug,
I am heading to Baltimore for work and clients are taking me to a Orioles game. Is it wrong to wear my Giants (home town team) cap to the game?
