Rob's Bio
I live in Korea with my wife, where I'm an editor and writer for The Korea Herald in Seoul. I began playing and watching tennis about 20 years ago, and it quickly became my favorite sport. On a(n approximately) weekly basis, I'll be contributing analysis, stories and some satire regarding the most beautiful sport there is.

AM ALSO hearing a bit of reload these days - low man's lyric

with no option left - as a stop gap
get the google images, but make sure you reference it and if possible - give credit to the one who owns the photos
if you reference them properly, i dont see a problem - academic journals work that way
is this viable ?

yeah - one of the disadvantages of being a growing, yet small group
I'll speak to Z about this issue as well RY.
I am working with him now - to get more exposure on the fronts, once thats taken care of, will be sure to mention this to him, hopefully we'll get more options
cheers -

Hi Rob,
Thanks for your note. Trust all is well at your end.
I've enjoyed reading your articles and commenting on them. I believe in a contrarian theory and hence, some of your articles do pick on the other side, like in the Federer not fan article. That's what I like.
Unfortunately, I'd not had the pleasure of being a parent, though I take care of my sister's kid (nephew, who features in some of my articles).
I am a big supporter of CIVIC...the foundation that Marla Ruzicka started.
Thanks,
Sarah

how about
the day that never comes ?

Hey Rob. First, congrats on your first article to reach nearly 1000 reads.
Clearly, a lot of the comments to the article didn't really respond to the article message per-se. This surprised me because, although I don't feel the way you do about Federer, I could still empathize with you without great effort.
I experienced the same off-the-mark feedback in my Man City article, the one I told you about and put so much hard work into.
You dealt with the comments admirably, but I just wanted to ask—do you get frustrated when people just don't seem to get the message or intention of your articles? Do you think it's a fault of writing? Or simply the readers misinterpreting it?

Cool. My sister enjoyed that holiday too. She's traveling in and around asia at the moment. I told her to keep an eye out for The Korea Herald!
The article provoked reactions, but they were mainly off the point so I'm disappointed that my message didn't get across. I think that the longer an article is, the less chance that people will actually read it. I think a lot of people just read the title, maybe the first paragraph, and skipped to commenting. Shame.
But anyway, I've just seen that you've published a new Fed article—what?!?!?! Will read it in a sec.....looking forward to seeing your points!

Hey Rob. Good to hear from you.
The article does features a lot of football examples. I mainly just wanted your perspective on the style, format, length, pace though because I really enjoy your writing style as much as your opinion.

Hey Rob, I know you're busy but I worked really hard on this article. Would love for you to read it and give me your feedback.

p.s. I'll try to 'look over' some of your articles for you! I feel kinda ashamed to do them though: I'm no editor!
