Anthony's Bio

Hello, my name is Anthony Orlando, but call me Tony or Tone for short as my friends do. I am currently a 5th year senior at Central Michigan University. However, all i will be doing this coming year is an internship. I am a Sport Management major and will be completing my internship in marketing and promotions for the CMU athletic department. Along with my major, i have a journalism minor. I began as a journalism major, but decided, though my passion for writing is very, very strong, I want to be hands on involved in sports. I, however, will still write about it. I have written for CMU's first-ever online magazine publication, Grand Central Magazine (www.grandcentralmagazine.com). I was sports editor and did numerous articles as well. I have also had extensive journalism classes, and wrote for the nationally renowned student-newspaper CM-Life for two years. www.cm-life.com. I am a Detroit anything, Michigan Wolverine, and CMU sports fan first and foremost. But I follow everything from the world of sports. ESPN is basically on 24/7 in my household. Hope you enjoy my insight.

  1. For obvious reasons, Rich-Rod is probably capable of amassing a nice win streak against Ohio State until our coaches figure out what to do against the spread. I don't think this is the year that his win streak begins, but it's inevitable.

  2. Anthony, allow me to apologize for the message left for you. I was writing at the same time you were it seems and your response to Erick cleared up a lot. I too enjoy arguing sports and, as you said, it is a shame that the conversation deviated from sports talk.

    Again, sincere apologies.

  3. Hey thanks for the edits and feedback. I appreciate it.
    All the best,
    Jeff

  4. Hey Anthony,

I've watched games and looked at the stats as well. He doesn't make me terribly nervous. And he's way better than Gagne at this point. He doesn't have overpowering stuff, but he's crafty. He'll have to keep getting the job done until Zumaya/Dolsi is ready for it.

Good article though, I look forward to more.
