When your best sports accomplishments have occurred during the occasional game of Madden, you know you have limited athletic skill.

With that in mind, you can see how sports writing became a natural path for me. I went to Penn State where I wrote for the Daily Collegian for four years and during that time, I somehow managed to turn a women’s swim team against me. I guess they couldn’t handle the truth.

I’ll do my best to bring the heat with every article, along with some wit, humor and accuracy. If you leave a comment and do it respectfully, I have no problem having a discussion with you. Maybe one day those athletic accomplishments will come, but until then, all I’ve got is my laptop, my thoughts and a blank canvas. Enjoy the ride.
