Wayne Testori - For the past 17 years, Wayne has been writing comedy that runs the gamut of network television, public and private radio, as well as the world of advertising.
Wayne Testori is a comedy writer with a proven track record of scripting ratings-winning programming. For 15 seasons he wrote for Royal Canadian Air Farce, (332 Episodes) Canada’s number one-rated and longest running comedy series.
Wayne has also written for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno; SCTV original Joe Flaherty; ABC’s Whose Line Is It Anyway star; Colin Mochrie; as well as WWE Sports Entertainer, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper.
Wayne was the creator and head writer for the CBC Radio sports-comedy series National Pastime. He also co-created and co-wrote the Television/Radio/Print advertising campaign for Major League Baseball’s Toronto Blue Jays.
In 2000 Wayne was nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award – for “Best Writing On A TV Comedic Episode.
On the production side, Wayne has worked as a Program Assistant, Associate Producer, Co-Producer and Producer for a variety of television shows with the CBC.
Prior to making money with a pen in his hand, Wayne made his living pursuing a professional hockey career, playing semi-pro for various teams in the United States and Canada.
