My name is Lyell Marks and I recently graduated with my B.S. degree in journalism from San Jose State University. I've played, written about and studied the game of baseball my entire life, firmly believing it is still America's pastime despite our modern affair with football. I still enjoy watching a game or two on Sunday, or witnessing some of the feats that today's basketball players can do on the court. That said, I don't believe either sport exhibits the same historical depth or unpredictability of baseball. It's a marvelous sport, but like many fine things, it takes time and patience to appreciate.
Hey Lyell,
I just wanted to let you know that Bleacher Report has launched out of beta with an updated look and feel and some great new features. Check out the "Game On" link in the header to find out more.
Next week we'll be launching the site to the world with some public announcements—and it'd be great to get a contribution from you between now and Tuesday to make Bleacher Report's launch a success.
Let me know if you need any help with ideas or have questions. Have a great weekend Lyell!

Lyell-
Great to see you made your way to the site. Hope all is going well so far.

Glad the edits check out Lyell. As far as article topics--my one suggestion is to write from the heart. If it's about sports, BR has a place for it...which means your own passion should be the only guiding factor. Seems like you've got a pretty good handle on that so far...
