  • All Time Sports Moment

1995 BCS Championship-- Huskers 62-Gators 24. Frazier is still running... 95 Huskers all time best and most dominant college football team ever.

  • Most Memorable Game Attended

Miracle on Ice. (Ok so I watched the tape delay like everyone else... but it still sends chills down my spine)

  • Most Unbreakable Sports Record

Huskers sellout streak. Joe DiMaggio's hitting streak. Gretzky's scoring records.

  • Ruth or Mays?

Ruth. He was a great pitcher too and nobody was even close to Ruth in his era for hitting. Mays had near equals cross- town in Mickey Mantle and Duke Snyder and also Henry Aaron, Ted Williams and Stan Musial.

  • Unitas or Montana?

Montana. Unitas was grit and tossed a wobbly but effective rock but Montana was money late.

  • Jordan or Russell?

Jordan hands down. Russell was a vital cog in Auerbach's green machine. Jordan put a team (supporting cast) and a city on his back.

  • Gretzky or Orr?

Orr was more physical and was more revolutionairy to the actual game. Gretzky rewrote the record books, grew the game in the US and carried the torch for an entire sport and country. Number 4 was robbed by injuires and was too early to be marketed effectively, so Gretzky gets the nod.

  • Pele or Maradona?

Don't know the sport. Pele seems like the real deal though.

  • Federer or Sampras?

Borg. If Bjorn had played the Australian and stuck around a few more years they would still be chasing his grand slam totals.

  • Tiger or Nicklaus?

Jack Nicklaus is a true champion and a man's man. He won majors with antiquated clubs and balls and was a true family man. Tiger stalks pornstars.

  • Petty or Earnhardt?

Tom Petty has some great hits but I never heard the other guy sing. (Its not a sport if a machine does the work).

  • Schumacher or Senna?

I'll take Schumacher in 3 rounds.

  • ACC, Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, Pac-12 or SEC?

Big 10. Can't be the Big XII, a league everyone wanted to bolt even if they had to pay millions in the divorce. Right now SEC is on cycle lead by Urban and Saban. Pac 10 added 2 mediocre programs to a mediocre league and USC is in cheaters jail. ACC needs some aging. I'm talking football so we needn't mention the Big Least.

http://www.huskerbig10scoreboard.com/besteverdebate.htm I think there is a consensus that the 1995 Nebraska team was the best ever.

and the 95 Huskers best ever? LOL I think thats what they said in 1991 when we shut you lumbering corn eaters out 22-0 or in 2001 when we destroyed that sorry team you brought in to play us. Nebraska proved to be no competition for Miami, which opened up a 34-0 halftime lead en route to a 37-14 final score. Miami won its fifth national championship in the last 18 years, and put the finishing touches on a perfect 12-0 season. Dorsey passed for 362 yards and 3 touchdowns, while wide receiver Andre Johnson caught 7 passes for 199 yards and 2 touchdowns. Meanwhile, the stifling Miami defense shut down Heisman-winner Eric Crouch and the Huskers vaunted option offense, holding Nebraska 200 yards below its season average. LOL The 2001 Miami Hurricanes are considered by some experts and historians to be one of the greatest college football teams in college football history. The Hurricanes scored 512 (42.6 points per game) points while yielding only 117 (9.75 points allowed per game). Miami beat opponents by an average of 32.9 points per game, the largest margin in the school's history, and set the NCAA record for largest margin of victory over consecutive ranked teams (124-7). 17 players from the 2001 Miami football team were drafted in the first-round of the NFL Draft. Please don't make me laugh so hard Either one of those teams would have sent you back to Lincoln with two black eyes and a second place trophy!!! LOL Nice try though.
