Erick's Bio

Erick Blasco is a 21-year-old college student attending Brooklyn College on a full scholarship. He is majoring in TV/Radio and minoring in English with the hopes of someday becoming a professional basketball analyst.

Erick is a lifelong NBA fan who loves not only the awe-inspiring talents of NBA players, but also the strategic chess matches between a team trying to maximize its strengths, while attacking its opponent's weaknesses.

Besides writing for Bleacherreport.com, he freelances for the daily newspaper amNewYork, and he posts his bleacherreport articles on OTRBasketball.com, and on ballerblogger.com.

Erick is a huge Florida Gators fan who is basking in the success of the school's recent football and basketball championships.

Erick is an encyclopedia of Simpsons quotes, loves Leslie Nielson movies, and lists T.S. Eliot, Lord Byron, and Douglas Adams as his favorite writers. He also lives on the block where the first tornado in over 100 years touched down in Brooklyn, New York. Obviously, God isn't a huge fan of Erick's, and sent a message accordingly.
