  1. Who is the better A-Rod,
    Alex Rodriguez or Andy Roddick?

  2. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/187912-the-2008-college-football-recap-the-real-national-champions

This guy is really late, and he actually believes UF didn't deserve to be in the NCG last season. Tell me what you think of this madness......

  3. Nick-
If you participate in fantasy baseball, then you should read my latest. It will help you in those difficult times when one of your hitters faces one of your pitchers. Thanks for checking it out.

  4. Nick-thats just it, Sword of Troy has nothing convincing to say...

He talks about UF playing cupcakes, so I looked at both teams opponents....

11 out of 14 games on UF's schedule were against winning opponents (.500 or better). Thats 78.6%....USC played 13 opponents and 8 out of 13 had winnings seasons....Thats 61.5% Even without that extra SEC championship game, the percentage is the same....numbers don't lie.

Clearly, USC plays weaker opponents on average than UF....

I proved thats his claims were invalid, and as you would assume, he has no response except for to irritatingly regurgitate the 19 pts. that the Citadel put on UF's Rudy's and all-the-time bench warmers while UF put up 70....weak...

I also showed that, record-wise, the Citadel(which he keeps making fun of) were as good or better than 3 teams on USC schedule.

  5. Thanks Nic. I thought about that but, decided not to to give a Top 20 and just title it Top Moments. In my own way I was trying to state that all the moments were equally important. Please continue to read my articles though and leave me your thoughts. I am learning so much.

  6. Congratulations, Nick! As good as both teams played, it came down to desire at the end and your boys definitely wanted it more.

  7. Yeah Nick , I dont think people realize how much the stats lie about OU's defense dont get me wrong theres holes in it but most of the yards and points given up are late in the game when OU doesnt really have their edge anymore. OUs D is better than 63rd it probalby is in the 30 or 40s but Florida still has an advantage being mcu better at pass coverage than OU.

I just worte an article listing Stoops top 5 let downs, you should enjoy it.

  8. or those of you that defended Urban Meyer for helping Utah here is something that will show you it is not always done...

Some of you said that Saban would do the same thing if asked, well you were wrong and here is proof.

    http://www.dothaneagle.com/dea/sport...florida/53358/

Here is the important part, a quote from Saban's coach...

Smart, however, said there was a limit on what was exchanged simply because of conference loyalty.

“We intentionally don’t talk about it because that’s an SEC deal,” Smart said. “We’re obviously SEC people.”

I guess the SEC is just not in Meyer's blood.

  9. Nick, Here is an interesting quote from the D-line coach of Florida, Just found it wierd beause I know you are always talking about Florida's size advantage and I looked it up too and didnt see a major difference between the units but thought Florida's lines were a little bigger, But apparently McCarney does not agree,

McCarney called Oklahoma's group the best offensive line he has faced this season. He said it was better than the Alabama unit anchored by Andre Smith that the Gators beat in the Southeastern Conference championship game.

"It will be a major challenge," McCarney said. "We won't match them and won't put anybody on the field with that kind of size. But we're as ready as we can be and we've see a lot of good lines in the SEC."

  10. Hey, just checked out the article... good stuff. I am not a Bradford fan at all... I think he is the next Jason White (little better though) and where is he today? haha...

Yeah it is a small world haha that's funny you live there too. My girlfriend is from Delray and goes to FSU now, she is graduating this year. I loved going to Lynn... small school, nice area. There are definitely too many snobs at that school but I enjoyed the faculty and atmosphere.

I love the 49ers but it has been painful to watch last few years... they used to be such a classy organization. I love Singletary though, not sure x's and o's wise if he is great but he is an awesome motivator. I think next year they will finally head back over .500.

I really don't know who they should get in the draft... I don't really like any of the qb's that are going pro now, if they pick Bradford I will be pissed. I think Crabtree is a good option.. maybe even Maclin... they definitely need a receiver at some point. I think they need some defense too, linebacker or secondary help. Taylor Mays? Brandon Spikes? Rey Mauluga? Corner from Ohio St possibly too, or the kid from Wake (CB). I was hoping Cassel would become a free agent and we could pursue him but that doesn't look promising. Qb is a necessity but there are no quick fix options...

    what you think?

  11. not sure why you get so angry in your comments but before you call me out and claim USC has NO players that can run in the range of UF's... you better do some research. I just named 3 for you in that article that are up there with them... i never questioned UF's speed, they have serious athletes and speed.. but to dismiss USC because you are a typical SEC homer makes no sense.

What were Walter Peyton, OJ Simpson, Emmit Smith's 40 times? I'm not sure they could compete with those 40 times either... but I do know there are a hell of a lot better! 40 times don't make football players all the time... florida is a great team, so is USC though and every time you show a lack of class in dismissing them you prove why the SEC is hated by everyone else.
