Mourinho's Mantra Made Chelsea and Inter Great, But What About Real Madrid?
May 24, 2010
I'm a life long Chelsea fan, and been a season ticket holder in the Matthew Harding Stand for 15 years. When im not day-dreaming about Chelsea i study Journalism at Bournemouth University on the south coast of England. I love the place, and more importantly the people.
I love my family and friends, and home for me is anywhere they are.
Im also a big cricket fan. but in terms of US sports i (try to) follow Tampa Bay Buccaneers, NY Rangers, Boston Red Sox, Orlando Magic and LA Dodgers.... i know its a random selection, but i have seen them all play and I've stuck by them ever since!
Anything on the new signing Mart?

Hey Martyn,
The inevitable has happened... the UWCC title has gone to a team I have trouble spelling the name of in a league I know nothing about... at least I've heard of the team though, and they're well known throughout the world...
Roma lost the title to Panathinaikos last night in the Europa League, but it's not all bad news! The match was a thriller with three goals and a penalty in the last ten minutes, as well as a last minute winner from a familiar face!
It also contained a wonderful goal from Vucinic (see that highlights included for that screamer) and a substitue scoring with their first touch on two different occasions!
Also included in the article are Roma title reign stats, which stand up against the very best there has ever been!

The UWCC needs YOU!

Hey Martyn,
The John Terry allegations have been well documented now, and in the latest Great Debate article I ask a lot of questions surrounding it, mainly "has it damaged England's World Cup hopes?" I think it has, but not for the reasons you might expect...
Also, Was Capello right to strip Terry of the captaincy? Is Ferdinand the right man to replace him? and what are your overriding thoughts on the whole farce?

Hey Martyn,
The Roma machine roars on as they extend their unbeaten run to 17 matches, retaining the UWCC in the process, but this presents an even bigger question: Can they challenge Inter Milan for the Serie A title?
On this form, who says they can't?
Their most recent match against Siena was another great match, with two genuinely world class goals, one of which came in the last minute!
Also, find out where the title would be now if Manchester United had beaten Chelsea in the Community Shield, and in another brand new feature find out where the title was exactly a year ago today!

Hi Martyn,
I've written article looking at Chelsea's pledge to develop young talent as a way to cut costs during the economic downturn and whether the club is actually making any effort to do so. I thought you might want to check it out:
