Jennifer's Bio

I'm a 2001 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, I have a BA in Journalism & Mass Communications and absolutely have an intense passion for college football in general and my beloved Nebraska Cornhuskers specifically.

The Short List What Jennifer thinks about sport's most pressing questions

  • Favorite Athletes

Tommie Frazier, Vince Young, Grant Wistrom, Ray Lewis and Ahman Green just to name a few.

  • Favorite Sports Teams

Nebraska Cornhuskers, Jacksonville Jaguars and a love/hate relationship with the Kansas City Royals.

  • All Time Sports Moment

'95 Nebraska absolutely emasculating Steve Spurrier and the Florida Gators.

  • Most Memorable Game Attended

Being in Miami for the '95 Orange Bowl when Tom Osborne won his first national championship.

  • Most Unbreakable Sports Record

Can't say. People used to think Hank Aarons homerun record wouldn't be topped.

  • Ruth or Mays?

    Both.

  • Unitas or Montana?

    Montana.

  • Jordan or Russell?

    Jordan.

  • Gretzky or Orr?

    Gretzky.

  • Pele or Maradona?

    Neither. Soccer isn't a sport.

  • Federer or Sampras?

John McEnroe. Played tennis with a passion, fire and intensity not previously seen. Who knew you could play tennis and still be intense?

  • Tiger or Nicklaus?

    Tiger...hands down.

  • Petty or Earnhardt?

Neither. A) Nascar isn't a sport, B) nascar driver aren't athletes and C) who cares.

  • Schumacher or Senna?

    Ernest Borgnine.

  • Pac 10, Big 12, Big 10, SEC, ACC, or Big East?

Big 12, followed by the SEC, Pac-10, ACC and Big East. I'm not going to include the Big 10+1 because we're talking about conferences that are actually relevant here.
