About

I'm Michael, the biggest fan of Baltimore sports that you'll ever find.

A graduate of the University of MD, there isn't much about Maryland sports that I don't follow. That includes the Maryland Terrapins Football & Basketball teams, the Baltimore Orioles, Baltimore Ravens, even the Washington Nationals, Capitals and Redskins right down the 95-corridor.

I play NFL fantasy whenever and wherever I can, I dissect and analyze professional football play to the point that it impacts and affects my personal life. Luckily my fiancee is also a crazed football fanatic, so she understands my pessimism. Especially when it involves my team.

In my free-time, away from work, I also watch other sports, including college football/basketball, professional basketball, golf, tennis and whatever interesting Olympic sport that might be on TV. Some of my favorite teams include the Virginia Tech Hokies, the UVA Cavaliers, the Richmond Spiders since you gotta love an underdog, Boise State Broncos, Alabama Tide, Miami Heat and OKC Thunder. I also enjoy watching Rory McEnroy, TIGER WOODS, Michael Phelps, Andy Roddick, Andy Muray and Raphael Nadal.

If you have any questions for me about any of these players/teams, let me know by sending me an email, PMing me on Facebook or Bleacherreport.com

I'm pretty confident this is my best work to date. I wanted to discuss the Baltimore Ravens defense. It's always great. But with a new DC, Greg Mattison, what scheme will it be? 4-3 with Suggs, Ngata, Gregg, and Pryce on the line and RayLew, JJ, and Gooden at LB, or 3-4 with Ngata, Gregg, Pryce on the line and Ray, JJ, Gooden, and Suggs at LB? Honestly, I think there are very valid arguments for both sides. Read/comment.

    Mikey,
You touched on CB's greatest attribute, that quick release. My dad and I talk about it all the time. Colt holds that ball high then shoot's it like a dart, hence the weak arm tag. He can flick it 50+ from that position. I still watch him on youtube all the time, just to remind myself just how lucky we were to have him. The best of Colt is yet to come!! I believe JZ reigned him in after the HOF game, he didn't need a QB controversey last year. No one expected that of Colt, not even me. I knew after that game he was all we thought he was and then some. Wait till he lights up NFL defenses for 300-400 yds a game, and he will. Some thing truly special is about to be unleashed, good to know I'm not the only one who see's it!
    Aloha,

    Mikey,
I commented on your JC vs CB article yesterday. I find it intersting that you are a Ravens fan yet have a keen sense of the talent that is Colt Brennan. I would love nothing more than to see Colt vs Flacco in the upcoming battles of the beltway, after all Colt was the 3rd highest rated QB in pre season last year, way ahead of all rookie QB's. I believe you were right on the money in your piece, JC has a short leash as does JZ. If JC is way outclassed by Colt in pre season, Colt will be in there. At the very least I think he's earned a shot at some 1st string defenses to silence the critics once and for all, and yes he will deliver. I have an unshakeable belief in this kid, I've seen his greatness over and over. The sugar bowl, the WAC, JJ's sytem
his size, blah,blah,blah...... We've all heard it, He's heard and doesn't give a shit. Time toplay the games, and oh yeah, F..K THE SEC!! Tired of hearing about that conference. Tebag should never have beaten Colt for the Heisman! And how bout them Ute's!!
Aloha from a bored Football fan in Hawaii
