I love the game. I love the game where it is chess and not prowrestling. I love the 50/50's (run/pass, man/zone, playaction/handoff) and the coaching minds and player intangibles that give creedance to the phrase "any givin Sunday" I don't want to know who there dating, if they're waffling retirement, whos holding out, who was arrested; but rather how the success and failure of these schemes, plays, coverages lead a team to victory or expose their weaknesses to be exploited by the opposition.

    Also, I read your shortlist, and I think that Lane's record is unbreakable. Plenty of others to choose from, but his is rock solid almost. If you get to 7 interceptions, QB's will stop throwing to you, from there, if you get anything it's off of a deflection from someone else. It won't happen again though.
