About Stefan »

Update: I'm on a bit of a break right now due to some other engagements, but I will try my best to comment on every Arsenal piece, and also to write something soon.

Well, it's about time I wrote a serious profile, I think...

First off, Hello. :) My name is Stefan Vasilev. I'm an ordinary 27 year-old "lad", who tries to give as many out-of-the-ordinary opinions as possible.

I am Co-Community Leader of the Arsenal page along with Mohamed Eldin Masri. All I can say is that it is a great honour for me, and I will give my best to continue the development of this division of B/R.
Currently, I'm studying English Philology at the University of Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

I'm a big, big fan of the London-based team Arsenal. It's in my blood and sometimes when Arsenal loses it reflects on me and I feel sad. Needless to say, that if Arsenal wins it is the opposite. My friends attempt to annoy me all the time and try to abuse Arsenal and joke about it but their attempts are rarely successful.

Ok, and now the serious part. I hope that by being here on B/R I will be able to improve my writing skills and eventually maybe learn something about sports in the process. Feel free to give your opinion on my articles and I would very much appreciated it if you critisize them in a constructive way. I have no problem with any of you opposing my opinions, just be sure to have some strong argumentative points.

Some of the series I have initiated here on B/R are:
- "The Diary of a Football Fan" - I will write about the inner world of a fictional football fan. Hope you enjoy it.
- "Dare to Guess" - Articles meant to be a preview on the Champion's League games of Arsenal. A lot of predicting on your side will be involved.
- "In Today's News..." - a series with humorous and/or sarcastic element. Hope you enjoy that.

Well, that's it. Good luck!!!

Hey,

Following up yesterday's great debate is the one I've been waiting to write for a long time, and the one I think may be the best debate yet and a must-read for any football fan! Should video technology be introduced into football? Would doing so take away from the 'magic' that makes the game so great? And would it help or hinder the referees? Have your say in the Great Debate!

Hey,

Henry's handball has got the whole football world talking. What better time for another Great Debate? Should Henry have owned up? Is he a cheat? Should FIFA have allowed a replay? Have your say in the great debate!

Hey,

After what is being called 'the greatest injustice in sport', the question is, what on earth is FIFA doing?

Have a look
Thanks

Stefan, after the Henry handball yesterday, I have decided that replay must be implemented in the beautiful game somehow. Please tell me your reaction.

This is an important piece that needs to be read by all B/R members.

Hopefully you read it and even spread word, so everyone can see things from a new perspective.
