  • Most Memorable Game Attended

Houston Astros at Pittsburgh Pirates, July 28, 2001...Pirates trail 8-2 going into the bottom of the 9th. First two men are retired. Two down, nobody on, then: double, 2-run HR, a double, an RBI single, another single, and the Pirates cut the score to 8-5. Jason Kendall gets hit by an 0-1 pitch by Octavio Dotel, and then Billy Wagner comes in to pitch to Brian Giles. After ball 1, Giles launches the next pitch over the Clemente Wall in right field of PNC Park, and the ball bounced into the Allegheny River. Walk-off Grand Slam. 9-8 final. The second time in MLB history a team had come back to win down 6 runs with nobody on base, and 2 men out in the bottom of the 9th. The most amazing game I ever attended.
