The most controversial issue of the NFL Hall of Fame, and I'm here to spell it out.. Please leave your comments.
How about doing the same for the Jerry Jones years after Bill and Ireland. Jerry always gets a pass, I started doing it but I just don't have the time to research. I have gotten this far. Roy Williams what if they has kept the draft picks. First round, Percy Harvin 60-790- 6 , Hakeem Nicks 47-790-6 or Kenny Britt 42-701-3. In the second round CB, Asher Allen, Lardariva Web, Chris Owens. 6th G- Avon Brown, Matt Slauson.
Have not gone back yet, but Jerry took a TE in the second when a whole bunch of WR available and we took D, Jackson. Jerry did draft Jones and Choice one year but they are like a 1/2 player because they both can not be on the field at the same time.
You can not sell off your children and remain on top. I think this the end of the line for Dallas and we hear the re-build words. To many players with over five years NFL experience, all prone to injuries as well as declining production.
You do great work.
It is a great article you should post it. If you don't mind I I am going to copy it for reference saves me the trouble of researching what you have already done.
We think very much alike. I have been thinking that the Eagles have a lot of players that can play duel positions. One problem was that teams like NO where able to read our blitz packages. With DE that can play LB and LB that can play DE as well as switching up positions in the back field perhaps we will see players changing positions as a way of confusing the QB. You know, last play you where a LB what are you now. The longer it takes the QB to figure out the coverage the greater chance he makes a mistake or takes a sack.
We are coming to the point that the modern defense will line up 11 on the line of scrimmage and only after the ball is snapped will the QB know the coverage.
Rex and the Jets are like that, Buddies 46 had that idea, it all looks the same till the ball is snapped. Confuse the QB and make it tougher for him to make his reads as well as confuse the WR and TE as to what coverage a team is really in.
I think you should post it, good research, great article.
