I live in Costa Rica and have been a die hard Saprissa fan since 1975. I was amazed to see Liverpool beat Saprissa in Dec. 2005 3-0 in the world club championship and have been a fan since. I have liked Wolverhampton since the summer of 1967 when they played in the United States and won the North American Soccer Association championship against Aberdeen 6-5. I saw the game and was greatly impressed with Peter Knowles. I also saw Pele play once with Santos and twice with the national team in the late sixties. I saw the Brazilian National team in Mexico play in 1968. Greatest National team ever!!! I hope Liverpool signs Bryan Ruiz as he will definitely help the team (if he doesn't get smashed to pieces by the BIG defenders in the Premier League).

Well, it appears that Bryan Ruiz of Twente has commited to remain with the club for the 2010-2011 season. Twente's gain is Liverpool's lost. What a shame as this kid would have helped out Liverpool's front line for years to come. Why even talk about transfers if you have no money to sign players? If Ruiz ever becomes available again he is much better than Brazil's Ribinho!!!
