Isaac's Bio
I'm 16 years old, I turn 17 on January 28th. I was born in Rockville, MD, and I now live in suburban Silver Spring, MD. That said, I am no DC fan. Truth be told, I can't stand DC. I'm a Baltimore guy. Love the Ravens, love the Orioles, love everything related to Baltimore.
Some people have this emotional story that hits you hard about how they became a sports fan. Not me. I had a VCR back in the day (back in the day means 1998), and I would buy these "Year In Sports" tapes. I loved watching the Cowboys play back then, so I was a football guy right away. I would often go into the front yard with dad, and he would throw to me, and I would count how many times I caught the ball, as opposed to drops. Then in 2001, I watched my first baseball. Diamondbacks-Yankees. World Series. I was hooked then and there, and being that I had transformed to a Ravens fan like three years before, it was natural I became an Orioles fan.
I've enjoyed my time on B/R a whole lot. I have 5 or 6 guys here from B/R who are considered some of my best friends, and I haven't met a single one of them yet. It's weird.
My favorite writers here are simple. Leroy Watson, Graham Brunnell, Andrew Nuschler, Daniel Abbas, James Williamson, Taylor Rummel, and many others.
I have a lot of pro writers I want to be like one day. I'm a big fan of the ESPN MLB section. Buster Olney is one of the best reporters for any topic out there, Tim Kurkjian is outstanding, as is Peter Gammons, Rob Neyer, Jason Stark, and Keith Law. That said, I think the Baseball Tonight group is pathetic. I like Eric Young...sometimes. John Kruk's "analysis" is pathetic. Don't even get me started on NFL Live.
I will NEVER, EVER use Twitter. email is isaacbarrow2891@yahoo.com. I am Mr. Original. If you wanna text, just ask I guess.

Eric Mangini has been an utter failure in Cleveland.. A big part of that has been trying to be like his former mentor, Bill Belicheck.. Heres a message to Eric: He Will Never Be On Belichick's Level. Appreciate any feedback you can give on this piece.

Everyone has dreams of playing a professional sport. Sirr Parker did in football. But it was impossible for him to do that from where he grew up. But he made it, and he's truly remarkable. It's a story I'd love to share with you:

Hey Isaac,
I just completed the second of a three part series between myself, Mike Kline and Justin McTeer, breaking down the Duke Blue Devils basketball season.
I highlight the back court of Duke and the different players that will need to contribute to the team. If you get a chance, check it out.
Feedback is always appreciated. Thanks!
