I agree with some of your selections regarding disapointing clases with the exception of Boise State. BSU has never signed a 4 star recruit but they continually have ranked in the last four years in the top 25 at season end. Boise State wants players that are coachable and team players and not individuals concerned with status. Which is typicvally not four and five star recruits. Those guys are all about themselves.

Good article Todd. Wanted to clear up one point. Sam Bradford wasn't playing in 06/07. He was redshirting. The QB that was supposed to start (I can't remember his name) was kicked off the team for taking extra cash from a car dealer booster.

Hello Bryan. Lert's see, BSU has won more games in the last decade than everyone. They've won on the road and at home and on the big stage (BCS bowls) with 1,2 and 3 star recruits. The coaches don't offer any player unless they fit the program, which is unselfish team play. Most 4 & 5 star recruits don't have the makeup to fit that mold (big ego's and pampered). I'll take the kid our coaches recruit anyday. Because they will be players that win.

Chris, get your f\acts straight so will be taken seriously. LeGarrette Blount wasn't ejexted from the game vs. Boise State. He hit the BSU player after the game. But let's see if I understand you correctly, BSU finished in the top 5 at the end of the seaon by a vote of the coaches and legit sports writers, they return 21 starters and you don't think they should be in the top five because of last year's schedule!

Thought you were an analyist?? if you look at Boise States recruiting class rankings they are always ranked low. But they continue to win and beat teams that continually rank higher. The recruits they get aren't ranked with more than three stars but they just out play the the four and five star guys (Kellen Moore, Ryan Clady, Kyle Wilson). Perhaps the BSU coaches know what they're doing??? Plus if you did your home work you would have known that they only had seven schollarships to offer and went after very specific needs. BSU typically doesn't go after four and five star players.
