About

Having grown up in Lafayette, IN and spent 5 1/2 glorious years on Purdue's West Lafayette campus in pursuit of my Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, I bleed all things Old Gold and Black. I currently live in West Chester, OH with my lovely wife and two daughters, but travel to Purdue games as frequently as possible.

On the professional sports front, I am a diehard Cubs fan (go ahead...feel pity for me), but in all other professional sports, I pretty much just follow the teams where my my favorite Boilermakers end up (currently New Orleans in the NFL and Houston in the NBA). I live outside Cincinnati but am not sure I could ever follow the Bengals or Reds (nobody jumps on their bandwagons anyway).

My biggest claim to fame on B/R so far is having two of my articles (okay, one was a slideshow) on the front page "most popular" listing simultaneously on 3/12/09. Must've been a slow day!!

SEC media policy makes it hard on fans, freelance journalists (of which many B/R writers are both). Thoughts?

Jeff, sorry it took so long to get to your article (I was out of town). I like the coaches rankings a lot, but i like the "One Man's Opinion" style even more. Great idea. The cheerleaders were clever too. Good stuff, I enjoyed it.
