Kelly's Bio
Kelly's has a love of NASCAR that borders on obsession. Since July of 2001 she has been hooked on this fast paced sport and it only took 160 laps at the Daytona International Speedway and a Dale Earnhardt Jr. victory to seal her fate.
Since then she has made NASCAR a major part of her life and plans for that to continue as she earns her Bachelors Degree in Corporate Communications in hopes of becoming a journalist for the sport she loves so very much.
You can normally find her in front of the TV whenever there are cars on the track: practice, qualifying and racing. And if it's July you'll find her at the Daytona International Speedway, her home away from home, for the July Coke Zero 400, a tradition that she and her dad started back in 2004 and have continued ever since.
She also attended the 50th Daytona 500 and cheered Ryan Newman to victory.
Kelly lives, eats and breathes NASCAR and hopes that the fun/work that she does here on Bleacher Report will open up many doors for her upon her graduation.
Kelly can be contacted through Bleacher Report, Facebook and twitter or Kac08dj@yahoo.com

I would like to send out my condolances to David Poole's family. In my opinion, David was the voice of NASCAR and the best at what he did. Whether you needed to hear it or not, he said it and wrote it and stood up fought for what he believed in.
I would like to thank David Poole for responding to one of my emails and taking the time to read one of my articles and give me advice. I will certainly use it.

Thanks for the post on my board and I hope to write a lot more, it's always been a passion but I am a little rusty. I posted another article but I haven't seen it come up yet, might be because I am a newbie and its under review. Thanks again, hope you got out of there safely!

I have decided to write a B/R Chatter piece, this time on the trolling that has continued here on B/R. Why this act needs to be done away with once and for all, and the community needs to speak out about it. If you have the time, check it out. Thanks!

The average fans these days don't know the difference between right and wrong apparently. The term "colorful language" is used very loosely nowadays at public sports events, and it's a downright shame. Please read my article which talks about my experiences with these fans, and a reflection on the topic.

Kelly, thank you for the fan-add. Sorry it took me so long to respond, but I've been driving around the country with Jimmie Johnson and the crew, enjoying the roar of the engines and the thrill of speed...
(Okay, that's a lie. I've actually been eating ring-dings on my living room couch and watching Wipeout. Anyway, thanks again for the add and have a good one!) :)
