CyberCosmiX's Bio

http://twitter.com/cybercosmix
NBA fanatic & Hoops fan in general, following basketball since the late-'70's. Love soccer too but far from a soccer-expert. Being from So-Cal I like our local teams, including the Lakers, Galaxy, Dodgers, Raiders, USC Football, UCLA Hoops, Team USA basketball & soccer, Clippers & Angels too (long as they aren't playing the Lakers or Dodgers!). Also a Chelsea fan (EPL).

I try to be impartial, don't simply write about how great so-and-so local team is & stuff so don't pre-judge my work 'til you read it!

Soccer rules, more people should get into it, it's a beautiful free-flowing sport to watch!

Random Story: Proud to have been at the '84 or '85 (ugh I can't remember which, went to a finals game each year!) NBA Finals game in which I started a 'Boston Sucks' and 'Bird is G&Y' (yes I know that was wrong!) chant with a few fans right beside Brent Musburger when he was doing a post-game wrap, which totally ticked him off. Between commercials he asked me to stop since the mic was picking it up, off course I agreed and promptly yelled it much louder right after the commercial break joined by a group of about 50 or so Laker fans chanting it at the top of their lungs. Has Boston STILL not gotten over that incident, sheesh they made such a big deal over it!

Other than that it was always fun (and all too easy!) to sneak into the ol' showtime Laker teams at the Fabulous Forum, man those were the days!
